"No tote bag for President Bush" - Los Angeles Times
This comes at a time when France is proposing to bar public television from selling any advertising. The model of "public" television, after all these years, remains in great flux. Technology is increasing the pressure and public policy is not taking shape very naturally. There are too many open questions about what we expect on our television sets anywhere in the world that comes through some sort of government entity, or as the direct result of action (financing, etc) by some government entity.
