In many ways, this is a disappointment....that the focus is changing from one very much centered in the Mediterranean to one that resumes the stance of being a loose appendage to the European Union. The Mediterranean deserves better than that and perhaps other institutions - including the MMC - will offer opportunities to do what SARKOZY & Co. is not going to do, apparently.
