Israeli teen, two Palestinians killed - CNN.com

It is really sad and unfortunate for anyone to die, especially a young person, but why is the death of this teenager emphasized as such and made so important compared to all of the other teenagers who died in conflict zones yesterday? It is reporting like this that makes Israel think it is so much better than any other place; it is not. Rather, it is precisely the same as any other place and all Israelis are simply the equals of everyone else - no better, no worse.

I would much rather have seen the story be - Two hundred teenagers died yesterday in conflict zones in these countries (in alphabetical order): .... or whatever the number of tragic deaths may have been in the last 24 hours of people who will never seen their twenties.
