We have been far too quick to associate social networks with all of the actions taken in the Arab world in the past year. There is a need now to sort out some truth from the rest and to try to understand better just how new ways of connecting people are affecting something like protests in Algeria.

If true, this strikes me as quite serious, involving at least one other country of the Mediterranena. (Niger has already been placed on a suspect list by some.)
