Albanian Broadcasting Restricitons

The International Federation of Journalists has criticized (13 Aug 2003) the continuation of a ban by the Albanian Parliament of broadcasting by a satellite news channel. This is the first time in several years that the IFJ has felt it necessary to protest formally against Albania governmental media actions.
