New numbers on global internet use
Most, but not all, of the Mediterranean countries are included. Numbers range from 12,000 in Albania to 25 million each in France and Italy. The Mediterranean Media Center hopes to study these statistics more closely to help develop the best possible data on the internet in the region.

Language is a fundamental link for people and the "larger" Mediterranean probably includes millions of people linked by their language, through one or more media.
